In another sign that the Pauls would put their kooky interpretation of the U.S. Constitution over pragmatic, responsbile policy, the Pauls actually opposed federal criminalization of Computer Generated Child Porn. These people just can’t be trusted, when they start putting these bizzare views over our national interests.

Provide proof that RAND Paul opposes Child porn Ban please. If your going to put up trash like this, at least try to make it look legit.

    These tactics smell of desperation.

  2. Ben Franklin Says:

Rand has no political identity outside of his kooky dad. Since he was one of the chief campaigners for such a kooky man, he gets the blame for his kooky views.

  3. TJ Says:

Again…provide proof of your allegations or dont make them.

  4. Benjamin K Says:

Mr Franklin, all civilized individuals will readily agree that child pornography is absolutely revolting at the most visceral level. However, we must step back, and ask ourselves, what is the purpose of government? Is it to defend the life, the liberty. and the property of the citizenry, as our founders believed, or is it to enforce a particular code of mores, depriving some of property and others of liberty, in order to satiate one portion of the population’s drive to see “good” codified into “law”? Moreover, the U.S. Constitution is one of enumerated powers only. Where in the U.S. Constitution is police powers over the morals of the people granted to the federal government? This is why the federal government has and claims no constitutional power to prohibit rape or theft…because the police power is retained exclusively by the States.

What the ____ Maybe what Ben says about Rand, says more about Ben than Rand.

    Kooky indeed.

umm … I’m gonna go out on a limb and suggest that just about everyone agrees child porn is bad.

Trey must be getting his butt kicked in the polls to be this desperate.

I may not be the smartest tool in the Shed, However after visiting this site and seeing the drivel this mike character posts I am voting for Rand Paul. He was the deciding factor in my decision. Who attacks someone for a strict interpretation of the constitution? It is like hating kittens, apple pie and Elvis.
